4 DAYS CLIMBING MOUNT MERU

Day 1 – Park’s Gate to Miriakamba Hut (2470 m):

Begin your adventure at Arusha National Park, accompanied by a ranger for safety. As you ascend to Miriakamba Hut, encounter wildlife and enjoy spectacular views of Kilimanjaro.

Day 2 – Miriakamba Hut (2470 m) to Saddle Hut (3500m): Traverse through fine forest and the heather zone, with an option to explore Little Meru for sunset views. Prepare for a midnight assault on Socialist Peak.

Day 3 – Saddle Hut (3500 m) to Socialist Peak (4562 m): Embark on a midnight ascent, crossing an exposed knife-edge ridge to reach the summit. Absorb breathtaking views before a sometimes strenuous descent to Miriakamba for a well-deserved rest.

Day 4 – Miriakamba Hut (2470 m) to Park’s Gate: A short day for game viewing and photos, followed by a transfer to the hotel for refreshments.
